     We have just finished the first quarter of this school term.  We have also finished all parent teacher conferences.  This next quarter will also go fast with two vacation weeks in it.  Being that we are so small this year Mrs. Z is keeping the students very focused on their subject matter.  The students again this year are taking part in the Good Samaritan Purse of a Christmas show box.  The school went on a field trip with time for each student to buy what they wanted for their child’s box.  The list was        
of course with the guidelines from Samaritans Purse.                New Hope Christian School Grounds
Boxes were packed and readied for shipment.  They year these students had the opportunity to learn how to bowl and keep score.  This was part of our PE program.  We have been advised that our junior boy (senior next year) will be enrolled in a dual enrollment at the local technical college.  This means that as he finished his high school coursed they will also translate into college credit.

     This will be the last school year that Dick and Jean Zoellner will be in the classroom.
Since 1987 they have taught the students at New Hope Christian School.   We are looking for someone to fill the position of classroom teacher. New Hope Christian School ministers to Native and non Native children through the ministry of Christian education.  This ministry has been a blessing to many families through the years so we are praying that God will lead someone to consider this as their ministry alongside  us.  We are looking for a strong Christian with a passion for Christian education who has been given by God, the ability to teach.  We ask that you prayerfully consider this as a ministry to the Native community.
