Youth Ministries Benjamin Dewing badewing@frontiernet.net Well things are starting to pick back up with youth group. Now that the colder months are beginning some of the kids will filter back in on Thursday nights. So instead of the four to six kids I would regularly get in the end of summer and beginning of fall, now we are having 8 to 13 kids coming regularly. This winter I am going to try and take advantage of my time off and try to get involved with a few of the youth in another one of the surrounding native communities. Hopefully we can start another youth group there soon. A few of the kids are going to be raising some money this winter to take a couple of ski trips, and hopefully be able to go to a big indoor skate park. Aside from our weekly meetings at the New Hope Gym I have been opening up the gym and our skate park to any of the youth that want to come and hang out. I am there every Friday for a few hours while also opening the Food Pantry for our local community. Also having a lot of time off from work this winter, I should be able to give my father (Don) a hand with some of the things that need to be done around the Mission property.
