ZOELLNER NEWSDick and Jean Zoellner
There is much happening at New Hope these days. I have been making the monthly trip to meet the semi to get food for our pantry, and have been painting the new transitional housing units where we hope to open soon. There is the outside work that yet needs to be done such as cleanup, mowing, clean out bunk houses etc. We are hoping to get some help with some of this from our senior feed group. We also have some things yet to do before June 12th for our Community Appreciation Day. Community Appreciation Day is open to all the communities we serve plus those that help support our work and those who just want to see what we are doing.
We found out the other day that we will be blessed as grandparents the end of the year. Jennifer and Jerry are excited to add a third child to their family. All the kids are doing well, Craig broke his foot on the job and has been off work. It looks like Beth and Karl will make a move this summer. We have the opportunity to
have Christopher’s Iian and Cloe every other week-end for a short while. I have been donating some work time down at Camp Dells. I joined a youth group work week-end to help open camp for the season. It looks like my mission trip to Guatemala is off for now. Jean is busy closing down the school year and putting things away. There is paper work yet and we have home-schoolers who need to finish this years’s work. The summer is a little iffy. We want to travel some and spend time in Arkansas. Jean is looking for a part time job.
Pray for us as we look for direction from the LORD as to summer plans and on into next year.
